I had a similar plan when I bought my car that's why I ordered leatherette. Do you mind sharing the type and exact color of the leather?

The type is Flora leather.
This genuine leather is made from West European raw hides.
The colour code is 2066

juke, i have to ask... how did you get the bmw performance alcantara boot with the m knob??? is there a diy to pull apart the m knob from the leather boot??? i cant figure out how to do it...

Wow wow and....WOW. What a tremendous difference. Very clean. The subtle details are great. Just the arm rest alone makes a HUGE difference. The cheap rubbery feel of the stock covering drives me nuts.
