If you're going to do a conversion I suggest you buy the whole retrofit kit from bmw. I didn't and the process was twice as long as it should have been.

Most of the time when I hear retrofit, it means adding the projector and xenons to existing halogen headlights. That what you are talking about? If I am mistaken I apologize.

No, in this case it's for a whole set of things needed to change your halogen headlights out for xenon headlights properly. It includes wiring loom, light switch, footwell module, lights. Without these it's impossible to change over to xenon headlights.

Would I just go to BMW and ask for the xenon retro fit kit?
