I just love how they blame it on their wives, when in reality we know some of them just prefer an automatic or can't drive stick.

You can have my manual shift when you pry it from my cold, dead hand. 6 speeds and NO stick?! Torture! Its what puts the SPORT in sports sedan.

haha no kidding

the only way I might give up my MT is if I had SMG or the Ferrari F1 paddles, and that is a maybe. Pretty sure if I had a Ferrari w/ F1 I'd still buy a normal MT car just for the fun of shifting...

Not only did I get the stick for myself, she is taking over my previous car (hers died) and it is a stick too ! Of course that actually has no bearing on whether I'm whipped or not. (I am - but it's the good kind - after all, she let me get the bimmer

I only drive automatic cars, stick is a pain in the ass. I like to relax when im driving and constantly shifting is not something I want to do. If thats makes me less "manly" well...i bet i can still kick all your arses.

I don't do manual anymore. I got over it. Although I'd get manual in a "dedicated" sports car.
