JB4 max cool mode lowers oil temps a ton!

My car came with a jb4 g5 already installed when I got it and since then (6 months ago) I've been learning more and more about the features.
I always noticed that my car took for ever to reach oil temps and didn't run as hot as everyone else's. For daily driving my oil temps hardly ever went past 210-220ish When everyone else was in the 250 zone. I figured I didn't push my car hard like everyone else since I only saw 250 once or twice ever and didn't worry about it.
Well the other day I was going through the dash menus and noticed max cool was on this whole time. Since I've turned it off I've noticed my car warms up really quick and I'm seeing close to 250 oil temps everytime I drive the car a good distance.
I've always heard that max cool didn't do much but now I can see that it really does help with oil temps, my only concern is the wear It puts on the already sensitive water pump. For that reason I'm going to keep it off unless I'm at the track but max cool combined with BMS bypass valve really does help a ton.

MaxCool is playing with fire IMO.

My oil temps never get high enough to worry, but I'd keep max cool off unless you REALLY need it.

Yeah I don't think it's a good idea to use it all the time either which is why it's off now. I finally understand why my car ran so cold though
