I am glad you, BF, and estella survived Wilmer. I know how you felt since I went through Andrew (long time ago) and Rita (just recently). I just happened to be in Louisisana when Rita decide not to head to Galveston. Ever thought of moving out of Florida? Huricane scared the living shit out of me (if you been in one, you will know what I mean). I am lucky because I never been in a location that was hit hard with uprooted trees....

I can't understand why people in FL choose to stay there, dealing with hurricanes threats for MONTHS at a time.......

Glad to see you and the car made it out safe, Nikki. My folks aren't quite as lucky. They're fine and their cars are fine but they still don't have power and boy did Wilma destroy their pool-screening and rip out some trees. Not to mention 143091234 missing terra cotta roof tiles.

It really isn't so bad. It is actually very exciting.
I'd much rather deal with this than earthquakes, blizzards, or tornadoes.
