I am a detailing fairy and take a lot of pride in this passion of mine. As I'm sure you do, but to really get the best results I use grit guard

1 for the ONR bucket and 2 for the rinse bucket.

And I have many MF towels at the ready. Takes me 25 minutes from setting up to putting away to wash the car and I do it from the comfort of my garage.

Slight thread hijack. After cleaning, I used to treat the wheels with Poorboy's Wheel Sealant to make brake dust removal easier. Good product but I recently tried Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant (I know it's meant for the body panels) with very good results. Less dust seems to stick and it's even easier to clean what does stick.

MA128...good idea. I find some sealant on the wheels makes a difference. I have tried poor boys wheel sealant but think any paint sealant will do the job. I did find that the stronger wheel cleaners just strip off the sealant. If you go with the sealant, then just use car wash soap with a ez-detail brush or microfibre towel.

I swore by Sonax... for about two bottles. The stuff did a fantastic job, but it's crazy expensive!

Since exhausting my second bottle of Sonax I have gotten hooked on P21S. About 98% as good as Sonax, much cheaper (you can use less, since it's thicker), and it doesn't stink to high heaven like the former!

Iron-X is another good wheel cleaner.
If I remember correctly, Sonax is rebranded Iron-X.
You spray Iron-X onto your wheel, initially it is green, but as it pulls metal particulates from the surface, it turns dark purple.
