http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14180 No other scheduled (or mentioned) changes for the 1 series. We spent most of the time learning about the diesels (awesome), the changes to the 3 series (also awesome), & then of course the idrive (ridiculously awesome). Nothing yet on pricing, they were extremely tight lipped |

Just something I pulled out of that presentation:
http://qacds.bmwuniversity.com/bmwlm...ent/index.html The 09 model specs for the 1er still aren't listed while the 3er and 7er are. |

Does anyone have the convertible invoice prices?
I have not been able to find invoice prices on the convertibles. The sticky does not have a link to them. Can anyone provide me with the ED and US invoice price on the 128 and 135 convertibles? Edmunds has the US invoice prices on the 128 at $30,450 and the 135 at $35,970. Are these correct?
Any idea of ED invoice? Thanks in advance. |

Do you know if the new iDrive will be available on ALL, even the early weeks of production for MY 2009's or is it a slow start implementation for the 1'er meaning it won't be available and the old iDrive will be supplied on September Build cars?

I have a quality of materials question. I ordered light burl walnut. What I got was not burl but a very plain piece of wood that looks like 1970's paneling. It's far from attractive and is not anywhere near the wood I've seen on any other BMW. Do I have any recourse? My CA is not being any help.

I ordered my car via military sales, had a rather unpleasant experience with my CA, and among other things that went wrong, my car was delivered at the port with a 3 series owners manual. Is there anyway I can get a proper 1 series owners manual as my CA is unresponsive? Can I go down to a local dealership and ask for one?

You would be angry too, if your car had 70 miles on it instead of less than 5, you had to pay an additional $800+ bucks in import duties that should have been covered, and it shipping weeks late. Among many other smaller things like having a 3 series owners manual, and being filthy when picked up at the port.

Dealers:
What would your dealership do in this situation. You have a customer call in on a Sunday saying that their 2008 135i under the BMW Maintenence Program has a Service Engine Soon light. Like I said it is Sunday so Service Department is closed. Would you be able to have the customer drop off the car and get a loaner? Or can only the service department deal out loaners? Also, are loaners part of the Warranty or do some dealerships not offer loaners? I am not asking this as if I am expecting it. I was just curious to see what the norm is. I have had issues with this dealership before and I just want to see if they did not go the extra mile for me in particular. History of this dealership for me: I ordered a 135i. They told me I had an allocation. I did not have one after waiting 6 weeks with my deposit down. Figured this out and took my business elsewhere. Problem is I have to go to this dealership for service since it is the only one within 150 miles of me. Thanks for any input, Brandon:w00t:

As the nearest dealer to me is 1.5hr+ away, I'll go ahead and give them a call and see what they say before making the drive down. Thanks for your help.
