Mayweather vs Pacquiao!!!!!!!!!!

It's finally here, set for May 2nd 2015. Is this really going to happen. I've never paid $60 bucks for a fight before but i will pay for this one if it really happens. Edit: This fight is $89.99

$89.99.. i was actually expecting over $100 since last Mayweather fight was ~$70

don't even need to watch.. it'll go the distance and Floyd will win by decision

but i'll still watch.. this fight would've been better 7 years ago.. after Mayweather/Hatton and Pac/DeLaHoya would've been perfect time

Yip. It'll still make a lot of $$$ but...not interested. This should've happened a long time ago.

Every single one of Mayweather's fights are boring as shit, and a waste of money. At best they are a good reason to get people together to drink and eat. That being said, this is the one to rule them all so I am planning on going to a party for this. Would never just pay to watch it at home alone. Never have, never will.

I truly hope Pacman KOs this fugger!

Stalling all these years in an attempt to let 'father time' wear the other guy down. Why not fight the "best challenger on the planet" which is exactly what Pacman was whenever this fight should've taken place. Not to mention the never ending epic douchery that Mayweather always engages in.
Don't get me wrong, I respect the talent! The man on the other hand...

why would may weather risk a loss this late in his career when he could go out as undefeated. just retire and go out on top! lol, yes one can argue bc he will always have the * next to his credits stating "but he never went against pack man" . I wonder what really is going on. Will it be rigged? I don't follow boxing that much so excuse me if this doesn't make any sense. Just seems like he has a lot to lose and pack man has everything to gain.

either way ill prob watch it

He will make 100+mil and have another potentially more lucrative rematch clause. As he has stated in past if he loses he will make an ungodly sum of money, not
a bad way to lose. I love boxing but with the amount of money being generated who knows what really goes on behind scene. I will watch from a local bar.

I can see this fight going draw if it goes decision. They're gonna put on a "show" and milk it for a rematch. The money is too big and there's no other money making fight in boxing today.

So did Mayweather ever read a page from Harry Potter after 50 Cent challenged him?

Love it! Me too...Floyd has dodged Manny for ever. Was always scared. The issue is that if it goes to the cards..likely, $$ always gets the benefit. Manny has already been screwed: see the first Bradley fight.

I wish I was going I'll tell you that.

May 2nd is an epic day of sports:

KY Derby
NFL Draft Day 3
NBA and NHL playoffs
Yankees-Red Sox

Can't beat that!

That's a loooonnnggg day for us East Coasters!

I absolutely hate Mayweather and hope he gets knocked out but I'm predicting he will win by decision like someone else stated.

If Mayweather win by decision, he might as well just lose.

Boxing is all about KO to me

I think it'll be closer than people think.

Floyd has a history of not doing as well against southpaws, lefty fighters, he doesn't have as strong of a chin as people think, and he has gotten just a little bit slower lately.

Still his defense, movement and timing is impeccable, but he doesn't have the power to hurt Manny. Besides the knockout from Marquez, Manny has taken some brutal shots in especially when he fought Bradley pt.2, and he doesn't get wobbled, whereas Floyd has been hit with shots and wobbled a few times, most recently, one of the Maidana fights at the end of round 5, Floyd takes one and is very lucky the bell rang because he was reaching for the ropes to hang on.

If Manny can absorb the shots from Floyd and use his speed and his awkward, southpaw stance to keep moving and land power shots, Floyd might have trouble, but that's if he can get to him.

Manny is a better fighter than anyone Floyd has faced, weather people want to admit that or not. and vice versa

This is all just my opinion

Well said. Floyd thinks he can shoulder roll and run around the ring. Manny is faster and more disciplined than any fighter Floyd has fought. I cannot wait!!
