It's not sticking to the roads yet.

I mounted the snow tires yesterday (whew!)...on the P!G. I had to go back to the dealer to enquire as to the key for the wheel lock. I think they lost/misplaced it when I had the new summer wheels mounted and balanced. Oddly, they just happened to have a spare key that fit my wheel lock....hmmmm I wonder where that came from?

When I woke up this morning I thought I was still dreaming.. where did that come from out of a sudden. I'm still on summers and will pick up my winters near Munich wednesday next week. At least thats the schedule, we'll see how the weather influences that.

No winters by 1 october? That's very UN German of you....shame shame tisk tisk.

If your worried about the weather going up the A8 I can easily carry you and the tires in the Tutonic rocket sled.

it snowed in HD most of the morning but very wet flurries and nothing stuck at ground level...tops of the hills around my house turning white from frost or snow, not sure....

We have a few inches at least here. Roads are bad on post, but will cleared by tomorrow I'm sure.

Sorry for being un-german, but I have the habit to be more american than german quite often

It will easily carry 4 tires as long as they are no wider than 275x19.

Hint it shares some parts with Audi and VW. Pound for pound it is the least expensive model offered. It drinks gas like Hemmingway consumed whiskey. Looks like a fat overweight hippo but moves like Katerina Witt.

I am on leave this week. My father inlaw would love the drive up A-8.

We can swap out the wheels on your car at my house. I have a lift and good quality torque wrench.
