So those made in 2010 will be called 2011 model??
Yes, car makes do not exactly coincide with calendar dates. Typically the next year models start being made the previous September with deliveries starting in October. The 2010 models will run from Sept 2009 to Aug 2010. The factory will then be retooled in August for the 2011 model.

ill be there this sat a 11am to get the 335i done
Thanks !!

I just went there at noon and got my 1er tinted. He was cool and I like the film but there is a light gaps on the right door edge near the mirror, you can't see it when the door is open with the windows down a bit, but you can see it when the door is close and windows tight. I am not sure if I want to go back or just get some black vinyl tape to tape up the gap.

Otherwise I think the job is good.. I only want 15% and he has it.

BTW he did remember you...

Thanks

thats cool bro, but if i were you i would have him do it again if its that noticeable

if it bothers you enough to put vinyl, then just have him do it again. it will look better

how does you dot matrix look on the front two windows?

I pass by pines BMW everyday coming back home from school.
i was due for a service and decided to stop in to schedule an appointment.
I ask the lady at the service desk when i could come in, she was telling me the next day at 2:30. I said that i couldnt and she asked me when i could. I only started to think for five seconds and she just shoved a card in my direction and said "call us when you decide" (It seemed like her shift was over and she was about to get up when i got there.) I started to explain how my service indicator AND service engine soon light were on and she interrupted me saying "What color are they" and i said that they were yellow. then she tells me "oh, wait til it's red and call us"

So i said thanks to her and left. I was definitely going to a different dealer. I went to south motors which was another 30 miles away, but that's where i bought my car because my dad was a very good friend of the CA.

I'm not bad mouthing the dealer. That's just the only experience that i had with it.

yea, im still not sure where i wanna go for service. def not scared to drive far for it, for the G I used to drive 22 miles.

i heard braman is good and they always give loaners, which is a plus. open to ideas if anyone local has some experience w/ these dealerships

i will def use again and recommend Pines BMW for sales because of Les Cutler, he's a solid guy. for service, still a toss up

Yes, I just went back this morning at 9am when it opens, he gladly redid the window and now it looks much better. He said he must miss it when he check for it yesterday.

Lastly the Dot matrix looks fine, I just have to use a credit card with wet towels on it the next day just to make sure it is flush.

Good luck on yours! At the end, I am very happy

Glad to see it has arrived. I wish it was warm enough here to do tint, but I think I'll just wait until the summer so it cures around the dot matrix a little better. Enjoy!
