United BMW - We're back :)

All,

I know that we have been MIA on the forums; Our focuses have been on marketing and racing.

We'll be on the forums more and more as more help arrives for us.

We want to thank all of our loyal customers for allowing us to be BMW NA's #1 extra large store for Accessory sales per vehicle sale. It has helped us achieve the 2010 Center of Excellence award and given us a lot of opportunity to grow and expand.

As of February 2011, we'll be working with Bimmerworld Racing to help provide a better shopping experience for both Bimmerworld customers and unitedBMWonline.com customers.

We try to keep an active FaceBook to allow for users to interact with us on a daily basis and to keep you guys on the most up-to-date news. If you like our company, give us a shout on our FaceBook

All users wanting to be sponsored, e-mail me at dmiles@penskeautomotive.com to request a form. Submit within one week for review.

Lastly, what BMW products do you guys want us to help out with? In the past, we've had deals on the Performance Suspension, Exhaust, Grilles, Power Kit, Wheels, Intake, Strut Brace, Side Skirts, E9x Swaybar, Oil Kits, etc. What's next? You tell me! Roof Racks, wheel locks, Floor Mats?

Best regards,
Daniel Miles

If you don't ask, you'll never get the answer. If you ask, the worst answer is no.

In this case, I have an answer of "sure."

1's up to 09/09 MSRP is $765.42 for the pair - Definitely can work with that.
1's 09/09-now MSRP is $704.78 for the pair - Can also work with that.

Let's see how much interest generates for these! Of course, regardless we'll help you out with them

Hi Dan - I am glad you are back!

Do you think the CF mirrors can be around $400ish for the pair? How about a deal IF we get the CF mirror covers AND a CF rear spoiler. Does BMW make CF grills? IF not then can they?

And lastly... How about a LSD kit!!!!! We need a $2K LSD for out cars. Plug and Play hopefully. Well... you said we can ask right!?!?

Dackel, if you don't mind me asking... what in the world is an LSD kit? I hear that term thrown around, but have yet to understand what it is.

We can do Performance side skirts, however the last Group Buy fell through. What are your thoughts?

The bumper is just too much money to ship. It doesn't justify going to your local dealer and purchasing it.

The CF mirrors we can't do for $400.00 because that is below our cost. However, we can work on the price down from MSRP.

LSD stands for limited slip differential. This product was on BMW's list to produce, but is on the back burner right now.

I've been interested but haven't found anyone selling them reasonably priced painted yet...

What can you do price wise? I know a site that sells them primed 247$ but paint is easy 300$... Anyway to drive price down?

Honestly and bluntly, $247.00 for the skirts will not give me enough money to eat lunch lol That is a great price and one that I cannot honor. I can sell it for $274.00, down from $315.95 (MSRP). Also, I can have them painted for $250.00 instead of $300.00. Maybe that can help make up the difference in cost of the side skirts.

For the 1, so far we've seen the N55 Power Kit.

Let's expect the new electronic steering wheel by the end of the first quarter (hopefully). I will be attending a conference with BMW at the end of March and will have more answers at that time.

Hmm that might end up working out for me! Let me get back to you on the side skirts.

Could you also quote me for a 135 standard rear bumper w/ diffuser?

Dan, curious. Without active board participation, do your parts sales take a decent hit?

Glad to see you are back, regardless!

Thanks Larry! Actually sales increased last year by 77% even with our inactivity on the forums (we did over 10,000 orders last year!). So we're very happy Our most loyal customers (you and among many others) still continued to purchase from us despite our inactivity. Business is growing still, and we now need to expand and hire a few more people to handle the work load.

As you may or may not notice, we launched our new website with only the 1 Series performance parts catalog done. We have not even had a chance to work on the 3, 5, X Series, or M series Performance parts catalog. Additionally we're working with iCarbon, but that has been put on the back burner due to not having enough helping hands.

I've made it my goal to keep the enthusiast community happy!
