Tinting windows
Hey guys, I'm new here and wanted to ask your opinion. I just got a 09 135i soft top and I'm interested in tinting the windows. I haven't seen any soft tops with tinted windows (not sure if it would look weird) and just wanted to hear some opinions on how it would look. Thanks in advance

Also interested in doing this. I have a black soft top with montego blue (dark dark blue) paint and am thinking of doing the same thing.
I see your car is black, so I'm assuming your soft top is black too, in which case I think you have the safest color to add on a tint to. I can't conceive how it could look bad. I'd get the same level tint all around and maybe not go too dark because of cops (depends on state) and my personal preference. |

Yeah I didn't think I could go wrong, I just couldn't visualize how it would look, especially with the rear window tinted. I'll probably go ahead and get it done, and post pictures afterwards

I just got my Montego Blue Vert tinted....don't have pics yet. I'll try to post this weekend.

Our space gray 2011 convertible is tinted (you don't want a car without this in South Central TX) and it looks great. Be sure to use a competent installer.
