I believe the clip above (cp-e midpipe+ maddad axelback) will actually be a hair louder than compared to the RESONATED maddad midpipe + axelback. I think this is a good thing for a daily driver and will still be plenty loud, especially the way I drive! I AM DRONE averse also.

No resonators with cp-e midpipe, if you ask they can give you some rubber device to minimize drone a bit.

Maddad, thanks for the response. I'm just interested to hear the actual maddad axle back and the maddad midpipes rather than your axleback with another manufactures midpipes like cp-e. I know it will sound very similar but it would be nice to hear some more clips of the actual setup.

No doubt, I need to get out and grab some proper drive by's and finally mount the new camera..probably won't get something up until the weekend. I was out of town all day today and got a full plate the next couple of days..but I'll set some posted by the weekend.

MADDAD, do you sell your midpipe completely seperate? If so what would be the cost of it?

Yes, when the part # gets posted the intro will be $599 for a very limited time with or without an axleback.

just got my axleback today, installing it Saturday, thread will follow but the quality of the exhaust is amazing! Perfect welds and the ceramic tips are great looking with a flawless finish. Thumbs up to Rich and Maddad! Now bring on the midpipes ....

YES he will sell it separately! The price is the intro price and once the intro price is over then it will sell separately for another higher price....

3 SS Tipped
1 Ceramic Tipped
4 No tips - basically we've got 4 exhaust wait for us to tip. That way if someone wants carbon fiber we'll tip it carbon fiber..if we run out of ceramics we just have to wait for a nother batch of tips to come from the coater than we can finish them off. So we've got OK inventory at the moment, although if you want a ceramic tip after the 1 in stock is gone it would proabably be about 2 weeks before we'll have more ceramic coated tips in from the coater.

YOU CAN NOW PLACE PRE-ORDERS FOR THE MADDAD MIDPIPE OR A FULL DOWNPIPE BACK. We've just cut over to our new shopping cart front end after almost 7 years on our previous system that was grossly out dated. There are still many things we need to finish up on the new site, but the important thing for you folks is that you can securely order(as you could before) your MadDad BMW parts...the new midpipe included. Remember when you place your order it does not charge your CC. I do that myself after reviewing every order. So don't worry about ordering a midpipe now and not taking delivery till sometime in January..you won't be charged until the week they are shipping.

Here is the direct link to the BMW part category:

I will be posting a video tomorrow after install hopefully, but there are some clips floating around here (I believe in Maddad's previous thread).

axle back should NOT throw codes, not sure about the midpipe but would doubt that. downpipes may throw off some codes without an O2 sim

Fixed.

BTW I have been running Maddad's axle back since the end of June and no codes have been thrown.

Hmm, I thought those were all with modded mids too. I'm looking to hear just an axle back. Hopefully something pointed at the back of the car as it's accellerating away, instead of pointed at an oncoming car, in which case all you can hear is a whoosh. The Meisterschaft vids are an excellent example of good sound capture.
