Anybody on the Freedom?
I'm on the freedom from what my dealer as told me but on the bmw site and on the 1800 phone number still has me sitting at the port. I have checked my VIN number on the boating site (the one the dealership gave me or the actual one on the site which one do i use?) but still no verification. Can someone tell me if they have found out any info about this boat. Thanks

Check again. I just showed up as on the Freedom. I think the WW site was just updated with the BMW BOL of cars on the Freedom.
YEE HAW LET FREEDOM RING. It's a faster ship too only 13 transit days to New York. Let the tracking begin. The BOL number is DE429632 |

I'm on the Freedom...I just tried my vin and it came up.
If your dealer said it is on there, it should be on there, they have the best info about where things are in production. The OC still says I'm awaiting transport, but I'm sure I'm on the Freedom, it lags behind a few days at least. Just tried the 800 number..still says it is awaiting a vessel. Give the WW site another try, from what I can see there are over 570 cars on there...Hopefully yours is a cabin mate to mine. |

Track the cargo by BOL (Bill of Lading Number) The BOL is DE429632 Looks like we are traveling in style on a spanking new ship. On February 15, 2005, the car carrier Freedom Ace was delivered and sailed on its maiden voyage for Europe with full load of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The Freedom Ace is the fourth of 12 carriers slated for launching from 2004 to 2006. It is a pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) with capacity of 6,400 units (standard passenger cars) and a 100-ton capacity rampway. The Freedom Ace mainly serves North America and Europe. Thanks for the update. I purchased a 2004 Volvo XC90 that sank with the Tri Color on its vayage here from Europe. So updates like these, letting me know my car is safe and sound, or at least the vessel carying it, are a relief. Any new updates? I check out that website, but there is no automated registration that I could find. Do you have a User Name and Password you could share?

Luckily our T6 was delayed and we just missed that ship. As they say small world. |

You're right about the model year. It was an '03. I ended up waiting long enough to get an '04, 8 month's after my initial deposite. Thanks for the great update too.
