Bump to an old thread searched for this topic and this was as close as I could get to being on topic, was looking at these bulbs from retrosolutions. Could we bypass the bulb out warning with a set of resistors on them? Was also interested in swapping out my taillight bulbs to LED as well, as long as using the resistors would cure the bulb out codes. Thanks

Couldn't any LED-related errors be coded out by turning off the cold and warm bulb checks?

I dunno, probably, though i haven't gotten any errors with these guys yet and no resistors were used.

It's a wedge-based 194 type bulb.

I noticed a slight blinking yesterday with the car off and it in reverse when testing it, but it went away after about 3 blinks. Not enough to worry about, as the light output far outweighs any negatives to these bulbs.

Which version did you buy??? With or without the lense because on the site it states that without, the light distribution is wider and more suited for back-up lights.

Did you buy the original ones I linked to or the ones the OP posted? Because the T15s I have are ultra bright. Where did you order the 7w Crees at?

original ones i got were just random ebay ones and give off maybe 1 third off the light that yours show.

These new ones i got are also from ebay hehe, but i did more research on q5 vs r5, and it looks as if the r5 give off more light lumes.
Here is the link
