Cool mods and really really nice car. Just from a drag racing point of view, 0-60 is kind of a contrived number that is tough to relate to 'speed,' because of the work done from getting the car from 0 to moving. If you're worried about your straight line times, 60' is much better indication of your car's acceleration. After the launch the car is pretty much going to do what it does. It's the launch that separates getting dug from doing the digging, the holeshot is the race. That said, 2.3 is a pretty crappy 60' for a pretty powerful car. Personally, I wouldn't drag my 135, but get tire and see where you're at! It'll feel like you were launched from a catapult. Now if only we could do something about the rear end..
Good luck. I recommend Nitto 555Rs

Sounds about right, I did 5 flat when completely stock. Only measured 0-100 once since modified and it was on a rough uphill country road and still got 4.9.

Nice looking car! Your 0-60 seems right on the money. Like others have said, get some sticky tyres and you'll get it to low 4s probably.
My best 0-100kph (0-62mph) time is 4.08 with a 6MT, measured using the P3 vent gauge. The P3 speedo measures 92kph at 100kph on the speedo compared to a GPS speedo at 94-5kph, so it's possible my 0-100 time was actually slightly faster. I've only really attempted it once since I've had the car and it was at the drag strip. My 60ft wasn't that great either with the timeslip showing a 2.134 short. I ended up getting 13.033 @ 118.02mph. It was my first time out in a manual car though and I'd only driven a manual car for 3 weeks at that time. Hopefully I'll improve a lot more next time I head to the strip. I have an N54, FBO + meth running 98 oct (93oct in the US) with Federal 595RS-Rs on 18" Forgeline F14s. It's a pretty cheap tyre but with pretty good grip. I last dyno'd at 298.9kw atrw on a Dyno Dynamics dyno (~450-480 rwhp on a dynojet) but with these tyres I don't really have too much of an issue putting the power down. I only spin a lot when launching because my technique sucks but from 2nd gear onwards there's not even a chirp. I can get my rears in a 255/35/18 for about $230 here in Australia. You can probably get them for much cheaper in the States. JB4135 here in Australia ran an 11.9 with a 1.7 60ft on his 6AT vert on these tyres on stock wheels. |

Seems a bit slow. Then again, every experience I have had with my mothers N55/DCT 135i vert makes the LC feature seem pretty much useless, and there's no real way to get the car out of the hole quickly.
My reference, by bone stock (with OEM RFT's @ <20psi in the back) N54/6MT 135i coupe did: 60': 2.1 0-60: 4.6s 1/4: 13.2@105 Measured with my VBOX on a perfectly flat industrial access road. The factory tires are like bricks, and really have to drop the pressures low to get them to play nice. There was still a little bit left in it on launch, and I figure a 2.0 60' is totally possible on the OE tires on an un-prepped, street surface like I was using. Also, the AP is not an extremely accurate tool for measuring acceleration performance. You would need either a drag strip, or a data acquisition like the VBOX, or GTech RR Pro which use a combination of accelerometers, and GPS for accuracy.

No real reason, I simply upgrade the CP because of the extra boost and I did not want to spend a ton on the FMIC so I got the VRSF.

Judging off of a online 0-60 calculator based off of 1/8 time and trap it calculated my stock '12 135i 6spd doing it in 4.56, not on the garbage RFTs but non-RFTs all season's which have better grip. I'm not sure how accurate it is but if someone could do a run with their in car timing device and compare that would be awesome. Then see how accurate this site is.
Here's the website I used if anyone else feels like it, you need your 1/8 time and trap speed: http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php Get your 60' down and get rid of those garbage RFTs! A 2.3 60' is a smoke show and you should be at the 1.9 range with better tires. |

That being said a skilled driver can do very well with RFT. mdyates 335is DCT pure stock except for a JB4-ISO/BMS flash did 11.9/117 on factory RFT with a 1.8 60ft.

Yea I wasn't sure and it didn't seem right to me either but that was the only site I could find that used actual 1/8 or 1/4 mile data. Everything else was enter weight, drivetrain, hp and it would calculate something like 5.2 which seems more spot on.
