First - Props for doing this build. The work looks like its going to be good and you did a great job on the CSL build. I have full confidence you are going to make this car look great.

As for resale value, I dont think it will go up. I like you, dont let that dissuade me. I build things for the process and the enjoyment I take out of it. That outweighs depreciation.

As a fellow 135-to-1M body conversion owner, it is important to understand our cars look like 1M's and often out perform them, but that doesnt make them a 1m. I still pay respect to the real deal.

I posted my part numbers and have been through a lot of this so if you need any questions or reference pictures ( particularly the exhaust, battery box, cables etc.) just let me know.

Goodluck

Nice project but I think with the time and $$ invested you could have just picked up a real 1M.

I, like the other poster, feel if youre going custom then go wider (atleast in the rear so you can fit some real rubber under there).

Good luck Im looking forward to seeing the progress.

I can't go wider there are bumper and rocker panel edges to match up to. 10" wide rubber is more than satisfying.

Our cars do not look like the 1m. Our cars look like a 128 135. A 1m looks like a 1m and only a 1m can proudly hold the M badge. Even if the heart is a 135 it's still a bmw!

The ppl building Lamborghini body kits on Fieros should be the one worried. Mine is going to be authentic.

You can fit 10" rubber under the normal 135i... thats only a 255 tire.

It would be so much cleaner without the stickers. Do you have to leave them on?
