Those are neat bikes. The British singles are almost a sub-cult.
Sub-cult of a sub-cult...

Agree! I have to physically restrain myself from buying just one more bike... just one more bike... just one more bike...

Triumph's have also melted my heart too...

If I didn't move from NC to No VA, I'd have a third bike, probably a Yamaha or maybe a HyperStrada.

Good Day All. Thought I would also contribute to this thread with my two

current bikes. 2007 CBR1000RR, and a 1990 Kawasaki KLR 650 Tengai that

I've owned for about 14 years. Rarer than my 1 series so to speak, never seen

another Tengai in person. Both stored indefinitely, the CBR1000RR due to

$$$$ insurance increase, and high risk of losing license.

My 1 series Bimmer is my money pit now

Every couple of years, I ride a loop from Ohio that includes Las Vegas. It is one of my favorite destinations. I have never had any trouble riding there...mostly around the strip, but also over to Hoover Dam for the obligatory history lesson and great views.

But then, I never have any trouble riding anywhere! Why? My philosophy about motorcycle safety is moderately unique. I believe that every accident that involves a motorcycle is the rider's fault. Every. Single. One. I don't care who had the right-of-way or who was supposed to yield, or who didn't see you. It is your responsibility make yourself visible and to stay out of everyone's way. Period.

Peace

This is my 2013 R6. Its actually up for sale because I want the money for my 1er! I rarely ride anymore and would rather have FBO, upgraded snails, and other supporting mods. Anyhow later down the road i'd love to get a triumph naked bike. I love the street/speed triples!

Those who like motorcycles and insanity (or both), the Isle of Man TT coverage starts Saturday. Sadly there has already been a fatality in practice.
