Quarter of mile135i chipped ?
Hi,
I bought this parts or my car (BWM 135i, convertible, automatic, 2009): JB4 Plug and Play ECU. Injen Cold Air Intake Kit. Agency Power RACE Downpipes. Agency Power RACE Midpipes. Agency Power Axle Back with Ti Tips. Agency Power Turbo Inlet/BOV Kit. Agency Power Intercooler Kit. I will participate in a race of quarter of mile, I will use map 7. Can you tell me, what times I could do ? Thanks. |

I was thinking the low 12's with race gas, especially since it's an auto. Quick shifts, no chance of driver error.
With meth on pump gas and similar mods I've seen high 11's. So low 12's without meth but with race gas seems feasible. If those are your only mods (aka, you didn't change your tires yet) you really should get a good set of tires. Either drag tires for maximum traction, or even very good street tires if you don't want to have an extra set. With the stock run flat tires you'll go nowhere.

You guys should be guessing in MPH, not ET. It is a much more accurate way to estimate power on a strip than ET.
