PSS tread pattern

For those who have PSS tyres, i have recently noticed that the 4 directional channels on the front tyres are wider than the same channels on the rear tyres... its not much but visually wider at least.

Given that the rear tyres are wider in overall width, i figured that the channels would also be proportionately wider vs. the front tyre?

Yeah, I noticed that as well. I've had mine on for just over a week and they are sensational tyres. I'd highly recommend them to anyone putting new boots on their car.

How do they compare to the RE-11s? I prefer the RE-11's but my PSS are lower profile 19s so it's not a fair comparison. They are a lot more quiet and still a great tyre.

How much do they cost? For like 205/50/17 fronts and 225/45/17 rear. I find with staggered fitment its a bitch to find tyres. Especially for the front. Mine is still the m package stock size. Ive also notice like how does it make sense with this sort of set up? Shouldnt the front be lower than the rears rather than the rears being higher than the front? Sorry for asking a noob question. And even when my rears are wider than the front it still cost alot less than the fronts! The front size is a biatch for me....anyone on the same boat as me ? Or maybe its just me being to soft and not wanting to change to 18

The profile height is a proportion of the tyre width. So a 245/35 and a 265/30 have a very similar profile height.

Try tirerack.com, they have all the range and are much cheaper than Aus even after shipping.

Alternatively, look at people selling 18's on the For Sale thread. The stock ones look great and can be had on the cheap.
