Berk Street Axleback (n55)

I have the same problem on my Berk race exhaust except the whistling noise is not that bad, but definitely noticeable.

Berk is expecting to get their hands on a faulty one this week, so i should hopefully have some more news in the next upcoming week or so.

I had that same noise with my Riss racing exhaust on my n54. I still don't know what that noise is.

I've had whistling, but nothing like yours with stock, berk, and my current AFE exhaust. I've always had it and would love to know what's causing it.

any update on this I have having same issue. it just started i had the berk exhaust put on 4 months ago. mine is just as loud, usually only happens in 1 and 2 gear around 2-3 rpm. i have an n54..weird thank god im not the only one.. i was getting pissed

I have had 0 issues with my N55 one for over 5k miles. This problem is not common. Also I'm sure if the OP had purchased the exhaust directly from Berk and not used then it would have been exchanged already.

edit... got tired of waiting so i brought it to a muffler shop and turned it into a race version. Much better now!! + the sound is awesome

Anyone find the cause of this notice I just bought my berk street axleback and the noise sounds just like in the video. Seams like everything I buy makes some type of weird noise. Anyone with info please chime in or at least update.

It's a defect in the manufacturing process. Berk gave me a full refund to me after months of hassle and trying 2 full brand new Berk exhaust setups in different configurations to try and eliminate the noise. I suggest you pursue getting your money back, but they were very unhelpful throughout the whole process. Brian over at Berk was the one I was dealing with I believe.

Has anyone found the solution for this?? I just installed the street on my N55 and I'm getting that tire squeal noise at WOT. I have a COBB Accessport tuned at Stage 1 Aggressive also.. No other major mods.
