You might break 20 mpg if you didn't drive around at 4000 rpm all of the time. You can comfortably do 30-35 mph in this car in 5th gear. Anything faster should be in 6th. I drive 80 miles/day and get 24.5 mpg routinely. When I drove on surface streets in my last job, in traffic, about 40-50 mph, I still got 22-25 mpg. |

without 5th gear, 6th gear would be 5th gear and then people would want a 6th gear for highway cruising. Then this thread would be complaining about 5th gear (6th gear) and wondering what the point of that was.
I just drive in reverse all the time. |
