Clutch pedal "CREAK"

I have a creak in the clutch pedal when releasing. Its not an audible creak but I can feel it through the pedal and sole of my shoe.

I can feel it when the pedal is about 70% released and just feels like a click at the end of the pedal release.. My car has 22,000km on the dial.

Could it be a defective clutch plate..

Any thoughts/anyone else have this creak, before I head of to the dealer?

My 128i had a creak-like sound coming from one of the springs. It went away after a while, and most of the time I just turned up the volume on my stero. The clutch pedal is plastic so some noise from it wouldn't surprise me.

Likely a bad spring in the clutch pedal (not the clutch itself). Easy warranty fix.

I had a squeaky clutch and went and got it warrantied. Turns out the clutch pedal came loose some how?? this happened about 3 times before they said they added some kind of padding to help keep it in place. after that everything went away. clutch squeak free for over 6 months now

I actually agree with jibaholic101. You should not be posting the samething 3 different times. Its counter productive and just wastes everyone elses time. Can we get a MOD to merge the 3 threads or delete the other 2?

WOW. Aren't we are touchy crowd.

Firstly. The second post on the US forum was in error and I tried to delete with no success.

The extra post on the Oz forum was just common sense as some forum members don't read other forums besides their own local postings.

Also...I have been around these forums long enough to know what is proper posting etiquette.

So..... Get a life mate and stop judging others.
