FINALLY!

Hi everyone,
After a long time of waiting and going back and forth between the 1 and the 3 I finally took the plunge and have "officially" joined the 1Addicts family! I picked up my new 135 Yest. I am very excited about being a new owner. I got this off the lot from Endras BMW. It's a 2011 135 Alpine White on Coral Red Boston Leather - Nav, M sprt, Premium pkg, Executive Pkg, Premium Sound pkg, 7 speed double clutch transmission.

I am not too sure about the red interior but it's still nice. Not too sure what it will wear like though. Although I dont like being the "first adopter" of a new technology (DCT) I didnt have a choice b/c I needed AUTO (for the wife) and this was my only choice. I have to say I LOVE the way this car drives. I am excited with possiblities however I am no hurry to mod. At this point I am more nervous about getting through the winter without runing the car with all the slush, snow and salt. Need to get some winter tires.

I am not going to post any pics at the moment b/c everyone here already knows what it looks like, well not right now

- have to get some mods first!

Congrats on the pickup! That color combo is excellent, it was my 2nd choice.

The DCT has been around in other models as well as being available 1 year in advance in Europe before we got it. It's not all that new.

Most definitely need a good set of winter tires in early fall. If you order from Tire Rack or some other reputable tire/wheel dealer order early to avoid disappoint. The coral red is a classic 50s combination with white-i.e. Jaguar 120 or Austin Healy.

thx for the welcome guys..I checked yest and received no replies so I was kinda disappointed..glad to see I was wrong..and thx for the reassurance about the colour. It's funny b/c I look for excuses to go for a drive. This car it wayyyy too tempting. Sometimes I think I could have gone for the 128 but then I know I would always be thinking "I shoulda gone for the 135"....this car is just amazing though..

in a week, you'll be SO happy that you got that color combo.... you're actually pretty lucky, because you rarely find those cars on lots, my understanding is that more often than not you have to special order white on red.

thx Mado! Yeah I think I was. but I suspect b/c this was a pretty jacked up 1er no one wanted to spend that much. I got a 6% discount so I think I did ok. It is starting to grow on me. All my cars have been black int so this is differant.

Welcome aboard. I have the white on red too... I wasn't sure at first, but I really fell in love with it after a few weeks. At first, I never thought 1950's Jaguar, I thought 1993 corvette,1988 mustang or 1985 tbird lol....

With over 24,000 miles, the Coral Red leather in my '08 128i 'vert still looks new. Zymol Leather Treat applied every 3 months seems to work well as a protectant.
