Does manual seats come with memory side mirrors

Does anyone know if the side mirrors have memory if the seats are manual on a 135i? Thanks!

i don't think mirrors have memory. I have a 128 with manual seats and im pretty sure that its the same way for the 135

No, I have the 128i with manual seats and the only thing with memory from key to key is the radio and personalization features (ie. radio presets, mpg of L/100KM, instrument light level...)

^+1 I actually tried it on day just to check. Mirrors are not part of the key memory.

On the 2008 cars, I'm certain you had to have power seats to get the memory function on the mirrors, but it seems like I remember seeing a thread here and some people with newer cars said they had the functionality without the power seats. Some searching might find it.

Premium isn't necessary for the mirror memory - just power seats.

Not sure of your point as leather is irrelevant to the thread. In order to have memory mirrors, you need power seats. My comment was only that one may have power seats (and, therefore, memory mirrors) without having the ZPP.

Leather ≠ Memory Mirrors

Manual Seats ≠ Memory Mirrors

From "Build Your Own" on BMWusa.com, the "Power front seats with driver seat memory" option states:

"8-way power front seats with 2-way manual headrests and driver memory with 2 pre-sets for exterior mirror and seat positions"

You can get the power seat option separate from the premium package for 995 instead of 1950 for the entire premium package (2011s.)

Besides, all 135i (and 128i?) have power mirrors. Neither are we talking about power mirror presets for normal driving.

I apologize, I meant "Power Memory Mirrors." All 1-series cars have power mirrors.

They do not dip when the car is in reverse and will not automatically return after dipping them manually to reverse. (My car has leather seats, manual seats, no premium. Power mirrors, but no memory, and no auto dipping)


Also important to note UDubBadger states he has power seats but no premium. This further proves the point of the auto/memory mirrors being tied to the power seat option, not the premium package.

UdubBadger actually linked a photo of my car's interior to give an example of the manual seats to another poster. The same photo can be found in my garage.
