BMW sun shade doesn't fit.. anyone else?

I ordered the sun shade with the car, and it doesn't fit. I checked the part numbers and I've been given the right one.

It seems too wide so it doesn't lay flat against the glass,and because it can't go flat it doesn't get held properly under the sun visors.

Anyone else found this or have I maybe got a defective one? I'm talking about the folding one you put in the windshield when parked.

My mistake, it does fit ok but it's a real puzzle to get it flat.

Yeah, those little flaps on the end are a PITA, till they loosen up a bit.
