Buy The Sprint Booster

I recieved the sprintbooster a few hours ago and put it in the car it took all of 8 minutes to do. BMW should have released the car this way, there is no hesitation anymore when you hit the accelerator. The car just takes off, I know that it does not have more power but it feels like I just got 50 more horse. I know I am going to go through more gas now but I do not care. Happy motoring

Ha what did I tell you Johnny? How did the install go? Pretty easy huh? Get ready for a bunch of people saying its all in your head. It does nothing for the car. Just ignore them and enjoy it!

I was just about to say that it is all in your head but I'm going to search on how it works first. Interesting

where did you order it from? i don't notice any hesitation on takeoff or when downshifting, but when i am in gear at partial throttle and go to full throttle there's hesitation. did you notice that when it was stock? did the SB help? thanks

So the SB will really liven your car up for city driving? Kinda like adjusting the loose accelerater cable. I see. How ever at full throttle, there shouldn't be a difference, is that correct? I would get this, maybe not for 200usd though.

No prob! Enjoy and be safe out there! Oh and as a word of caution...

DTC totally off, rain, and Sprint Booster are not a good combination. Dont ask how I know.

There was no hesitation before you bought it.... You just didn't step on it quicker or harder, or lack the finesse to modulate a gas pedal for the appropriate amount of power.

Instead of stomping on it, to wake the engine up, you only need a light press of the foot. This is great and all... but at every light? backing out of the driveway..? You'd have to feather you clutch much more, because it's harder to match revs, etc.

$250 to alter your gas pedal's bell curve? ... ridiculous!

Gas

Give it about 2 weeks and let me know how much AVG gas consumption is. That is my deal breaker, What does it do to your gas.

for those who have these, do you have a manual or auto. I think this would be better for the autos because it would downshift quicker, but I'm not sure how much it would be useful on a manual? :iono:

I am very interested in this product, I came across it about two months ago, my buddy has a Crossfire SRT and got it. He said that he noticed a difference and so did a few of the guys in his club that purchased them also. I will have to ask him about his gas consumption as that would be a huge factor for me.

alwaI have it on my Auto, before I only left my car in sport shift when I was driving in traffic because the regular automatic did not have enough punch for me. But now with the sprintbooster I have kept it in regular because it has much better throttle response. I always shift my car like a manual using the paddle shifters and with this product the car so much fun. I cannot wait to get back to the track, I am going on the 31st I ran a 13.56 shitty launches I know I will hit a 13.2 now.

What exactly does this do, just improve throttle response?

Yes, like the Sport mode on the M3, just permanently engaged. I have this crazy notion of wiring it through a switch, to create my own Sport button...

It is so easy it takes 8 minutes. You take a allen wrench and take ou the screw that holds in the accelerator unplug the pedal plug in the sprintbooster and reinstal the accelerator. It may take 5 minutes it is so easy and so worth it.
