Anyone know where I can get the tyre patch up kit?
Go to your BMW dealer and get the M Mobility Kit, it's $150 from memory. (it's what you get with an M car as they don't have RFT's or spares).

My personal preference for rubber is Michelin PS2's, can't speak highly enough of them.

Actually that is completely correct; my bad. I was thinking about the R26R - http://www.autocar.co.uk/CarReviews/...-R26-R/234170/

Okay, my car was in the tyre shop today for the test fit. The P.Zero (full stop)'s body is about the same as the Dunlop (who knows how come I got the Dunlops) runflat. Tyre's been ordered, and expecting them to come in the next couple of days. Will let you guys know the difference.

So which P zero are you getting? In 225/40/18 and 255/35/18?

P.Zero (not the rosso nor the nero). and yes in, 225/40/18 and 255/35/18s. Apparently it doesn't last very long, but we'll wait and see - a bit heavier than the PS2 but superior wet handling compare to the PS2... and the PS2 aren't in stock.

how do the p zero compare, price wise, to PS2? I'm thinking of replacing the RFT once I have run in the car, when I get it, that is.

I am pretty sure they are about the same price as they are on par with each other. I guess, there's no other option - so I didn't ask... I am trading my old tyres in, so it doesn't sting as much will let you know price once I found out.

Change over I quoted was between $150-200 per tyre.

Sparoz, I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Do you mind if I ask what they're giving you as a trade-in on your "old" tyres? Presumable they'll still have 90+% tread left on them.

Less than 1000ks so far on my tyres. Will let you know once I've got the confirmation on pricing.

I have just heard that the starspec or whatever Dunlop is now available in Australia. I've heard so much good things about it as a performance tyre. Someone should check it out. But P Zero is a brilliant choice.

Dunlop starspec is the best you can get out of Japan. I am sure it is on the top of my best together with B'stone RE11 comes in change over time.

Stuckey's got it Taka. Give them a call to find out the price. I will probably get another set of DZ03G from them in 265 when I get new wheels and my body panels.

EDIT: Yes Stuckey is the distributer for Dunlop in Vic if not the whole country (I am sure they ship semis everywhere).

I will see the difference between Stuckey and tyre rack. Nah... I am way not there. Not sure I am having pretty good tyre wear after 2000km. Lost less than 1mm. I am sure it will last over 15000km in my nanny driving around town.

I will keep it as good until I hit the track in stock mode.

I'll tell you what an auto at Sandown can do with a shit driver in the wet on Saturday

Stuckey are a good mob to deal with, they support motorsports and our medical company, so it's great to support them

PS2 is about $120 more expensive. I am very happy with the PZeros at the moment though. Funny though that there's a little bit more road noise then the runflats, but I was on Dunlops. I haven't actually driven (apart from helping her park) the 125i, so I am not sure of the difference.

$330/tyre approximately.. change over was 160 for fronts and 180 for backs... but you know how deals are.. you can never really tell.
