Rear trim plastic coming loose. Suggestions?
Just noticed that a plastic trim piece is coming loose in the back:
When I push it in, it doesn't stay in on the left side. Can this be fixed easily? |

First off the entire diffuser is one piece. I can’t imagine why it would come out like that unless someone wanted to cut it out. You can try applying gorilla glue and push it back.

Boy, I am dying to know what is behind that loose piece of trim. Did someone make a Dremel tool cutout and then change their mind? Is the loose piece actually plastic or something else? Plywood? Cardboard?
More pictures please.

Actually it will leave a hole if you take it out. I had a ghetto mod a while back. I cut that portion out and had stuck a mesh I picked up from Lowe’s for a while. There’s even a diy about it in the diy section.

Could not find anything in DIY section except this:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=Rear+diffuser Did not want to pull in case it's just glued. My guess is that some flimsy plastic clamps broke. |

It's held on by double sided tape. Just remove it and replace the tape.
