I seem to be in the minority on this forum but I absolutely HATE white cars.

Couldnt agree more. I never liked white cars, just my preference. Im trying to order an AW - on this car it just looks so cherry. Another funny thing. Ive been watching unveil of multiple 1M on the board here. They are all exactly the same (as in stock 1M's) - yet its not getting old. Keep'em coming

That was a really nice touch from the dealer. I hope mine does the same as it may be the only one they get. They asked if they could put it on the showroom for a few days (locked and behind a velvet friggin' rope according to my CA), so in return, I hope to get a fruit-basket and a very cool paper certificate.
I was originally going to go with BSM but changed to AW at the last possible moment. I've never owned a white or a black car. All my rides have been a rather pedestrian silver or charcoal. My interior color choices are even more uninspired--black. In college, my reddish-orange VW Rabbit Cabrio was cop-bait and ultimately accident-bait (rear-ended and then hit off-center by distracted drivers). I specifically chose AW because it seemed to highlight the exterior features of the car a bit more than VO or BSM. I think all three are fantastic colors, however. Limited numbers and colors do nothing to harm long-term value, IMO. In the end, I think that the color is subordinate to how the car makes one feel, and how it performs. Any Lambo driver will probably dispute this, but my daddy doesn't own an oil-field so I'll never be able to drive one of those, nor ensconce myself in Gucci products from head-to-toe. But I digress... Congrats on the new car. It looks fantastic. And in the parlance of the intertubez...MOAR FOTOEZ PLEEZ! |

Kevin that looks absolutely stunning!!
I too have ordered from a Cooper dealership and an AW car as well. In fact, I've already asked them to fit the black kidney grills as part of my PDI, so our cars will look very similar. I'm sure you're really enjoying the car already and I look forward to hearing any updates you have regarding ownership. It's little stories and thoughts like these that help those of us who are still waiting Look forward to seeing some more photos as well, especially as it's a UK car. Did you notice my attention from other road users? I have to say that with the Exige you do get starred at a lot! |

Thanks for the feedback guys, I've been out in it again for most of today and I can honestly say that I haven't had this much of a grin on my face since I owned the TVR! The noise, the power. the presence, and the comfort is just immense!
I gave her a proper wash today, and I'm still staggered as to menacing and wide it looks! I took some pics to try and demonstrate it further...

Pointing, staring, double takes, being stopped 4 times in a single visit to the petrol station by people wanting to talk to me about the car...
So in answer to your question, yes!
