Full weekend of HPDE with NASA Florida region at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Awesome organization, great group of guys and instructors, very well organized and lead.

My best Lap of the Weekend, this one using one part of the NASCAR banking, it's definitely something to experience.

Thanks, finally got to go on the banks, it's thrilling and probably could've gone faster but was feeling things out.

Next track day's at Sebring, which is a notoriously bumpy track, specially on the last turn "17" I think.

You have videos from this weekend? You guys went out to the track right?

Elewhat? I don't understand that word, you mean like hills and stuff... lol

Seriously, it's why I like homestead so much, because we have the fake elevation with the Nasacar banking.. ha

It's Florida, the only hills we have are man made landfills

What dates? Where? May's far enough where I may be able to make plans.. I'm dying to go tracking outside of FL

yea we get drivers here at our events talking up that track all the time.. I will make some plans in the next week and let you know, but that would be awesome. Since I don't track during the time in FL, things get rained out all the time, and when they don't it's 105 and humid.

So after my 3/31 - 4/1 event at Sebring, it's usually a 4-5 month hiatus from the track.

Sounds like I'm making plans then, will verify for sure by the end of the week. What group are you running? Will they honor HPDE3 with NASA? It's kinda like "Advanced Intermediate" you can say, point-by passing, but anywhere not just straights.

If you have the documentation you shouldn't have an issue. They're giving me a hard time though I gave up and am going to run their "blue" group for the first session and get them to move me up.

Yup, I have a NASA Passport (yea they actually give you a passport) with all sorts of instructor comments and such. Begineer groups are so slow and unpredictable at times.. not knocking, we were all there once, it's just funny looking at now

It was really humbling going out there the first few times, I felt like a total dumb a** lol, but I learned that you never stop learning.
