ARC 8's and big tires

Just got my new wheels and tires on!!
Arc 8 18x8.5 front et38 and 18x9.5 rear et58
RE71r tires 245x40 front 275x35 rear
TC Kline s/a coil overs -3.2 front -2.2 rear

Very little rubbing at this height, but i had to remove a couple spots on the front fender liners and heat the filler tube for the tank and push a small dent into it in the rear

If you had to heat the fuel filler, I'm afraid you're going to run into issues after a few laps. Tires flex and what clearance you think you made probably wasn't enough.
Just keep a real close eye on it.

That's a serious car TheWind, same for ImIn. You need some better seats and a 4 point harness system next with all that power and traction. No antiroll bar mods? I didn't change mine either.

it was just barely touching the inner fender liner at the filler tube and i pressed it in about a half inch so should be good but i'll keep a close eye on it for sure.

really don't see any need for a cage at this point the local spot i run at is pretty small top speeds of around 80 on the straight. seats on the other hand..... Those are next!!

Here's my fast lap from the time attack.if you listen close at the end you can hear Harry's give a 35.8 second time. Their timer picked it up at 35.99. pretty happy with the way she performed, sway bars and R888r's are on the way for the next event and we'll see if i can scrub off a couple 10th's

Me and my friend were within hundredths of each others times so at least i know the car is consistent

Thanks man, I'm still learning for sure. I ran the first event and will probably do the next austin event but its to hard for me to get to SA that damn early haha

Yeah, I've been meaning to make it up to one of the events at COTA, but it's hard to get up that early for me too haha.
