Help my car is sick!!! (Video)

[u2b]Can anyone help me on figuring out what's wrong with my car?

Little back story , my car every once in a while will randomly go in limp mode (like once or twice every few months) then it would just go away. The car in general hasn't felt as powerful in a while. A month ago I tried to do a 3rd gear pull and the car just stuttered and fell flat on power. It honestly felt as if I went past redline and rev limiter kicked in (obviously I didn't go past redline). So I basically just babied my car for the last few months. A few days ago I woke up and my car was doing this

Haha "whyyyy" 💁😢

Dunno what you expect to see besides a engine malfunction on the dash and you can already see enough on the dash such as the rpm bounce

I had this issues after a lot of ECU flashes using HMD I didnt have a CEL but the rpm jumping was caused by the throttle body adaptation being reset improperly. I used the Throttle adaptation reset option in HMD in order to reset the adaptation however there is a in car method to do the reset.

I would try the following and see if it helps it should help, but it sounds like there is something else going on with your car. http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1020477

You need to read the codes in order to figure out whats up with the CEL, Get codes read and post them on here and we can take a look. My guess it has to do with the throttle body itself but it could be anything at this point.

Reset throttle adaptions manually, hold down gas with ignition on (no engine running) for 30 seconds. Pull out key and wait 1 minute. If that doesnt work it could possibly be your throttle body that went south.

I had that exact same sound when I replaced my turbos earlier this year. We originally thought it was the throttle body adaptation and we did the reset. That didn't fix the problem, so we ended up taking apart the throttle body (even though we never touched it as per turbo replacements) and found that somehow an O ring/gasket from the throttle body (or somewhere else..correct me if I'm wrong) had gotten into the manifold...well at least a tiny chunk of it, we replaced it with a new one and the car was fine.

Just some food for thought in case it's not a TBA issue.
