Hi Gents,

I am still looking to sell my 10 kg flywheel, as we are in the process of doing a multi-plate setup for my car.

I am happy to sell the "Single Mass Steel" flywheel at cost price.

I will also have Rosco machine the driven face, so essentially it will be in "AS NEW" condition.

Please PM if you are interested, just a reminder it is for a "6 bolt" application.

Cheers,

JD.

Hey guys,

further to my prior post, I am happy to say that my twin-plate setup is moving forward, as such I am keen to sell the 10 kg ADVAN flywheel I have been using.

I will be letting it go for $695.00 Aus exclusive of shipping.

That is significantly below our cost price.

I will have Rosco of Ross Balancers take 20 thou' off the flywheel driven face and top pressure plate skirt, so it will be as good "AS NEW".

Lastly I should be able to deliver it to any address in the US for $150 Aus, via FedEx International Priority mail.

Cheers.

Hi Gents,

do I have any takers for my 10 kg "Single Mass Steel" flywheel?

It is a very nice addition to an ACT "Street" clutch upgrade.

The above combo is super streetable and will hold up to pretty much anything you can throw at it, except for drag racing on Hoosiers and the like.

If that is what you are seriously looking to do, it would be best to hold out for the twin-plate setup we are currently developing.

Hey mate,

I suspect it is a function of build date.

The earlier 135i's such as yours have "8 bolt" flywheels, where as that later models such as mine utilise "6 bolt" units.

I am not sure if it's the same for 3 Series N54's.

I am fairly certain all the early model 335i's use a "8 bolt" unit, but I do not know if that also changed somewhere in the production cycle.

If in doubt I imagine quoting your VIN/Chassis number, to somebody like Dan@BMW United would allow you to determine what version of flywheel is required.

Cheers,

Justin.

Hi Guys,

my ADVAN Performance flywheel is still for sale.

I am super keen to sell my 10 kg unit, as ideally I would like to put that money towards the multi-plate clutch we are doing for my 135i.

The new asking price is $595.00 Aus exclusive of shipping.

FYI,

if anyone is interested in a lightweight 7.5 kg "Track" version I can have Rosco CNC machine my original unit to those specs.

It costs ADVAN an additional $200 to produce the 7.5 kg unit, over that of the original "Single Mass Steel" flywheel and that is what it will cost you.

Cheers,

JD.

To the top!

Hi Gents,

any takers for my 10 kg "Single Mass Steel" flywheel?

My OS Giken twin-plate basket will be here sooner than expected, a few extra dollars in my back pocket would be handy.

The new "new" asking price is $495.00 Aus exclusive of shipping.

This is way below our cost price and I'm silly to sell it for that, but truth be told I could use the cash.

It costs ADVAN an additional $200 to produce the 7.5 kg unit, over that of the original "Single Mass Steel" flywheel and that is what it will cost you.

As such you could have a true lightweight 7.5 kg version, that is made from chromoly steel and nitrided for only $695.00.

Cheers,

JD.

Hey guys,

our 10 kg "Single Mass Steel" flywheel is still up for grabs.

IMHO,

this is an excellent match for those guys who are doing an ACT "Street" clutch upgrade, as that combo will provide trouble free clutch/flywheel operation on the street & race track, even for those running RB turbos.

Cheers,

JD.
