Set-up
18x8 Sport Edition KM11 wheels (ET40) Michelin X-Ice Xi2 225/40-18 all around Also running the 12mm Macht Schnell spacers (rear only) with no rubbing or balance issues at all. Ordered the entire winter set up from Gill at Tire Rack and couldn't be happier. The color of the wheels closely matches the brake calipers. I also like the OEM look with the BMW centercap. Tire Rack did a great job with Road Force balancing and shipping. Everything bolted up and fit like a dream. I will definitely do business with them again. The tires have performed very well so far in the cold weather on dry roads, ice, and snow of SE Michigan. I'm also pleased at the handling and braking characteristics of these Michelin winter tires. Of course they aren't hp summer tires, but they still allow me to enjoy my car during the winter season.

Some old E46 wheels with Continental winter tyres.
We got the first snow in the UK yesterday. Thankfully, I was able to escape from the office ok - so I can confirm they work.

No snow here yet, but I'm ready.
Confirming Bridgestone WS70s 225/45/18 fit all around with no issues on stock 261s. (Yeah I know I'm missing a center cap) |

I'm late to the party, but here's my 135i with Elbrus I05 18x8 wheels with 225/40R18 Blizzak LM-60s.
Cheers, Bryan PS> The lighting is terrible in our parking garage.
