brick reddish is pretty close.
natural brown with a little dark red might also be close. I tell my friends it's like a dark football color. I've only had one person that's seen mine say they didn't like it.... and he has horrible taste... |

hey dkizerian, does the terra stay clean?
It seems dark enough to me to stay clean looking, but I could be wrong.

ya i have it mine stays really clean, no worries about it getting dirty. and in reference to the titanium trim ugh, go with the burl, i have it and it looks very classy, elegant yet sporty. The titanium or alumium w.e it is looks cheap IMO.

second that notion from baller. aluminum looks cheap with the rich terra color. Most people who get in the car love the way it looks with the rest of the interior being black...very slick.

I am anxiously waiting for the mid Feb delivery of my black sapphire 330xi with terra and burl. I didn't think that the aluminum complimented the terra as much as the burl. It always comes down to personal preference, which means that you can't go wrong either way. |

I have the aluminum trim, and love the way it looks. I didn't like the terra with either of the wood choices as I thought the colors looked a bit off together, but to each their own. |

I´ve had terra for 7 months anbd 12.000mls now. Still looks like new. A very easy colour to keep clean.
On my previous E46 with tan leather, the driver seat looked shabby after the break-in weekend. It just took up the colour from the occasional Jeans I wore and got a blueish shade. No cleaning in the world got it back to clean. Plus the tan carpets and other parts easily got dirty and marked. High maintenance interior. The terra on the other hand is very easy to live with. it doesn´t colour or fade, the black carpets and other parts are very easy to maintain neat. Terra is almost as low maintenance as a full black interior. Very practical.

Do not confuse terra with "natural brown". My wife has this colour in a 330 Ci cabrio; it looks fabulous.
Terra on the other hand is a love it or hate it colour. I originally ordered it, but I got nervous about it after seeing it IRL. My fears proved to be prophetic. The car with terra that I rejected remained unsold for over six months. According to my dealer, terra will have a very negative impact on resale, so be cautious before you order. This colour has the most limited appeal of any of the ones offered currently in NA. |

Terra is still tops on my list right now, buy grey is a close second. I like the fact that you basically have a black interior with a "splash" of color on the seats and doors.
The only thing that really bugs me about the Terra interior is the grey headliner. It just seems like too many colors thrown in there. |

Terra is an AWESOME color! I've found that it is very durable, and most everyone who sees my car comments first by saying "wow, I love the interior!" You don't get that with black!
I absolutely love this color. |

7 months now & I love my Terra interier.
Any future BMW I buy will also have Terra! I've had every color leather in all my past 11 new cars. Terra is my favorite & nicest to keep clean. Still like new! |
