Aggressive offsets on the 1 Series

I am searching hi and low for some 19s and have narrowed it down to some VMR's or another make called Vertini.

VMR do the 1 series friendly offsets but Vertini do the generic 1 series/3 series offsets of:

ET35 fronts 8.5Jx19
ET 45 rears 9.5Jx19

Has anyone had experience with this fitment? i assume it will have to be a 225 tyre up front and 245 at the rear and some fender rolling to get away with this and a lowered suspension?

Anyone with experience with this please tell me about what you had to do to get them to fit please.

Many Thanks.

i just ordered a set of AluFelgen SF-71s staggered 8.5x19 front and 9.5x19 rear. and i got 225/35R19 Front and a 255/30R19 in the rear tires.

255 rear is the largest size that will fit without rolling.

Do you know the offset of your wheels?
Also what suspension are you running?

Might be worth looking into what kind of offsets your new wheels have as you may have to make minor modifications - although doubtful on the stock suspension.

Thanks.

Anyone else running similar offsets to those quoted above?

You should be ok with a 215/245, may need a slight roll.

^this

9.5 et45 is a very common aggressive rear offset on our cars. The front might need some TLC to fit and you won't be able to run a wide tire but if you're ok with the stretch of a 215 on front it should be good

Thats going to be quite a stretch with a 215.....anyone else running this?

I don't want to end up buying the wheels and not being happy with the fitment.

What are you trying to do with the wheels? Speed or looks?

8.5 +35 front is very aggressive. You'll need to run at least a 215 tire to clear the outside. The 9.5 +45 rear can work with a 245 at stock height.

Depending on what VMR Wheels you are looking for, we do have exclusive 1-Series fitments for a handful of our designs.

8.5 +45 and a 9.5 +50 which will allow you to run a 225/255 tire setup as a direct bolt-on fitment and no modifications required to the vehicle.
