PSS has fairly wide shoulders, I know that for sure.
With the RE11's you might have to do some googling. |

Just go to TireRack.com and plug in the tires. They'll list all the specs of the tires.

OP, I agree with the TIRERACK suggestion for research, however I can also tell you that from numerous sources on here... the RE11's in a 255/35 18 are narrower than the 255/35 18 PSS. That may actually be different than the TIRERACKS's data shows.
BTW the same applies to the Yokohama S-Drive... opposite to what TIRERACK states, it's actually wider than the Potenza S-04 (all tires being 255/35 18).

From my experience, the Bridgestone RE-11 runs pretty wide, although I've never compared them directly to the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. I think the Bridgestones probably have a more square shoulder though.

IMO TireRack specs will help however due to shoulder designs, etc. it's more complex than just looking at specs. Sorry, I've never used RE11's.

The physical dimensions of the tire are only part of the story. It's like comparing height and weight of people. You may have two people that are the same height and weight, but their proportions could be completely different.

Let me spare you the doubt and anxiety. I use 255's RE-11 in the rear and track my 135i. No rubbing at all on stock style 261 rims.
