Retrofit headlight question.

I've got quite a few extra parts from 135i headlights
Do you think it's possible to dissect two headlights and take the projector housing and cutoff to use in a 98 Volvo headlight? How could I power the d1s?

This has 'bad idea' written all over it in my opinion, but anything is possible.

You would need to do a lot of testing though and wiring diagrams would help.

things to consider:

1. Adaptive function will likely not work without extensive modification
2. You will need to mark each wire, and test the current and voltage for each wire, along with note the wire gauge
3. Modify the volvo to match these figures, probably run multiple new wires from the fuse box or a computer.
4. Modify the headlight to accept the new projectors
5. Modify the headlight to accept the new wiring

I would just buy some aftermarket projector headlights and bulbs for the Volvo.
