So far the 1M is still my choice at any price point because it's such a good blend of performance and practicality in a small package. I used to think I'd eventually swap to a 911 but I don't like the direction Porsche is taking that car--991 is BLOATED.

A couple weeks ago, I took a 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage (manual of course) for a drive. It still is a beautiful looking car to me, but the interior is starting to feel a little dated. Once driving, the little (odd) quirks were quickly overshadowed by the glorious sound of the V8. Just the sheer sound of it made me want to push harder...and yet I was barely at the speed limit. Thankfully this car was anything but fast as the brakes were average and the steering was vague. I had always dreamt of driving an Aston, but as I handed the keys back an drove off in the 1M I realised the problem wasn't the Aston...it was the 1M. It has ruined my Aston dream and there isn't another car I'd rather be driving right now, in the real world, than the 1M. |

True the Aston v12 is special, but that wouldn't be real in my current world |

I heard Porsche Australia took away Trivett's dealership, when I bought my Cayman S from them in 2010 they asked for an extra $2000 at the time I took delivery WTF? they claimed it was to service the warranty, I phoned Porsche head office in VIC and they didn't know anything of it. Needless to say I didn't comply and drove off with the 3 year new car warranty. Never dealt with those dodgy pricks again.
