I just don't understand the negativity here. Aside from the lack of a home page that was practically pointless, I don't see what we've lost. There are only two things I could see hurting 1Addicts because of this. First is if they change the rules, such as no racing/kill stories or the restrictions on vendors, so long as these stay I think the community will be more or less the same. The second thing that could affect it is if people freak out over nothing and leave.

Seriously, the user experience has hardly changed. There's a few more icons here and there, as well as the strip at the top with all the links. Other than that the 1Addicts theme is still in place. I've always just used my history to bring up a forum rather than a bookmark, but the bookmark I have is directly into the Coupe forum, not the front page. And as I see it, we've been given a prominent position on bimmerpost and 1Addicts is being treated with all due respect. And they've already added our color threads to the bottom of the home page. How cool is that?

It seems to me that all the owners, admins, moderators, etc. involved in this are determined to keep it right. Let's give them a chance and assume that it'll be a positive change. What is the point of being negative about it?

Your decal is still applicable as the 1ADDICTS moniker is incorporated within the 1-Series header on the Bimmerpost forums page, besides, that's the name of the forum, see top of page.

The only thing different I see right now is the lack of the yellow highlight for the new posts in a thread. How can we tell they are new now?

I believe we just experienced some turbulence - use care in opening the overhead bins as contents may have shifted during flight. ; -)

Here's a thought, contact the admins and give them some time as they are most likely quite busy and perhaps they can resolve this issue. In a change of this magnitude some issues are to be expected.

The ONLY problem I have with E90post is in a detailed post I did about 4 months ago. I would of found it, but our search tool is buggin! =)
I just do not like the negativity that floats around.
