Painted my stock brakes this weekend!

Like how they turned out...just need to order some smaller stickers for the rears and I'm all set!

50 bucks, used G2 paint since they had white...took me 3 hours from jacking up the car to torquing the wheels back on.

Looks good. I'll wish you luck keeping them that way - dirt, brake dust, rust, etc. You'll have to do some work, in my experience anyhow, to keep them from looking like crap in a few years. I don't mean to be a downer, just giving you a heads up to plan to put extra work into cleaning your car now.

Hate to break it to you but I am running the Cool Carbon pads and they throw up just as much dust as the stockers.......none the less I like the white calipers!

You might have to switch back to your OEM pads to remember how bad it was or maybe your stocks weren't bad....i haven't washed my car in 6 days and my wheels still look clean. 1 trip to work after a fresh car wash and my entire wheel would be looking black afterwards.

Looks absolutely amazing. I love to hate your car lol u are always doing some bad ass mod. I think if I weren't going to do these same forge star wheels n white then I'd paint the calipers white. But white wheels and calipers together would b too much. Remember I messaged u about ur wheels actually awhile ago. Ill b picking up my car n 2 weeks so they will be coming very soon. But looks great.

I think at the moment the cheapest place you can get them is auto-individual for about $275. EAS has them for $28x. Every now and then they seem to have specials though.

Thanx man! Do you know the pro's and con's of carbon brake pads? Do they last longer?

I Saw they might produce less brake dust which is a huge plus in my eyes .
Oh do they stop quicker?
I guess maybe the only con is they cost more.

maybe you are right. it just seems that they still get so dirty, even if I am soft on the brakes, one trip home after I wash it and there is already dust on them.
