Took my SGM Performance Pkg Delivery yesterday!!!

Well everyone I finally got my SGM 135i today!!! Oh my goooooodness.......sweetness defined. I think I also have one of the only 1er's with the BMW performance sideskirts, BMW performance front spoiler and CF splitters, CF mirrors, AND the CF rear-deck spoiler. I bought it at BMW of South Atlanta (great place, everyone was really nice, and my CA Scott Dodds was hands down great....they made everything hassle-free) and then made the 294mile drive back to South Carolina. It was great...anyway here are some pics for you all to drool over...I will post more when I am able to take some pics around here locally.

OMG that's nice! I wasn't even aware of those options (aero kit), they weren't offered to me, nor did I see them anywhere. Can hey be added, or just factory? Sorry I'm so clueless... but mines here in a week or so.

Sweet car.

Nice to see the Perf Pkg on something other than AW. The front bumper/splitter kind of gives it an E46 ZHP kind of look.

That looks awesome! I am very near that particular BMW dealership. Out of curiosity, why did you not have it delivered to the Performance Center so you wouldn't have to drive it back?

I had certain time constraints that would have put the delivery date out of my required timeline. So I just decided to go ahead and just get the car. The 300mile drive back to SC was nice though. I bought it from BMW of South Atlanta because they came highly recommended from my bank (USAA) and I figured ATL was not too far away. Just hopped on a flight ($110 from Savannah), Scott Dodds picked me and my girlfriend up from the airport and drove us to the dealer, gave us a tour of their facility, and then told me my car was not 100% finished due to the installation of the CF parts. Me being the person I am had already booked an overnight hotel room downtown ATL(Holiday Inn at World Congress). So they gave me a loaner (328i..not a bad car itself) and we made our way downtown...took a tour of CNN headquarters (we were such tourists...LOL) and then crashed out until the next morning. Anyway for the most part it was pretty painless and Scott helped as much as he could.:roundeloh yeah and I got to pick something from the BMW shop...I got a M-sport backpack...yessssss exxxccelllent....:headbang:

Just as a side note:

When you take delivery and they detail your car.....tell them to let it AIR dry and to use no type of hand cloth on the car....some of those guys will not use the pristine microfiber we would use and then end up leaving swirls....and then it has to be rebuffed....

More pics coming when the weather clears...its is horrible right now.....

lol, when i was just about done the sales rep asked me if i wanted it detailed (even though it was on the showroom floor)

i was like NOOooooooo, ill take care of it.

last vehicle i got, after i had done signing everything i walk around to see a detail crew using a "soft" bristle brush to wash it

Never Again!

I work at a car auction and trust me, the fewer ppl touching your car the better

I DO have the shadowline kidney grills on the way. There were not available when I received the car. If they get in before I head back to the desert then I will install and take pics....

Did the SSTT this morning....feels like more power buuuut....a noticeable turbo lag now...hmmmmm....

Thunderstorms today so no pics peeps...we will see in the next few days.

The Tii aero parts look great on SGM. I'd imagine it's best suited to SGM and darker colors.
