It is not a problem as long as you are not doing highway runs for a sustain period of time. My day to day driving doesnt involve that so it is fine in that regard. I occasionally do a 45 minutes run on the highway that's what gets annoying.

Well I guess I'll just have to crank up the HK. Thanks for the input.

Drone

I have 2,000 km on mine. Yes, it drones if you drive in 6th gear under 2,500rpm. The intensity seems to vary with the weather i.e., with air density and humidity levels. But, not withstanding the drone, I don't like driving the car under 2,500 rpm, so I don't use 6th gear unless I driving over 70mph. My daily drive is city/highway. My mileage so far is 9.1km/l (about 21 mpg). The same route the year before in a 135 was 25mpg, no drone, using 6th gear. Have said that, very happy and not looking back.

What sort of mechanic can address about the drone? Can I take it to Meineke? ;-)

Someone mentioned an "exhaust specialist."

Would it be possible to have sound insulation installed?

I have now the Eisenmann (sport! not race) exhaust installed. The drone is currently gone. The Eisenmann is much more quiet compared to the 7000km driven original. I hope the Eisenmann is improinge its sound after some miles
