Thanks Ev!
You guys always come through for me I kinda want the M Side Mirrors but they are a bit pricey... Does anyone know how I can tell if I've got the dimming function? My rearview mirror does but I don't know about the side mirrors... |

Give tischer/local dealer your VIN number (just last 7 digit) and they can check it for you

Unless you factory ordered your car I'm 99% sure dealers won't option it, but to answer your question I'm pretty sure its the same as the rearview mirrors - everything just turns green

But '10 onwards do not have dimming. I ask dealership into upgrading to dimming ones they say not available from factory. |

I think I got the side dimming mirrors packaged in along with the electric folding side mirror package. The function doesn't get a chance to work on mine though as it works off the sensor on my internal rear vision mirror. As I've got tinted windows and the BMW internal rear screens, the sensor doesn't get to see enough excess light to trigger it.
