Dumb question
Can you still use jb3? I've never upgraded to jb4 or cobb... Does it really matter? I keep reading that jb3 doesn't support the new software or something along those lines. Excuse my ignorance.

Yes, you can still use it. It's just that it's no longer supported, so there are no more updates or anything of that nature. You can upgrade if you're interested. I run a JB4 with a G5 board and SLD and used to have CPS wires (prior to my flash) and I'm using a pinout harness. If you do upgrade, you will need to make a couple of configuration changes. The other option is that it is really cheap to pick up a G4 board now.
