Thanks Nikki! I actually ordered mine in Arctic (like yours, obviously) but changed my mind in time to change the order thanks to all of the pics here on e90post.com. It was really a toss up, but I just thought the TiAg was more of known quantity, i.e., I knew I'd be happy with it.

it's cool, if you weren't quite sure about it then the silver was definitely the right choice. as soon as i saw arctic in person i knew i wanted it.

The first time I saw Arctic, I loved it! The next time I went back to the dealership, it looked different - which, from what I've read here, is both the blessing and the curse of Arctic. You either love that it looks different in different lights, or you hate it. Personally, I couldn't hate any e90 regardless of the colour! (well, maybe Sonora

Yes, it's legal. In fact, when they issue you your plates they only give you one for the rear. You occasionally see people with plates on the front, but their cars (or at least their plates) are old enough to have been around when the province used to issue front and back plates.

I think the law was changed in the early 90's, but don't know for sure. All I know is that I'm soooooo happy I don't have to put a plate on the front!

Yeah I believe that all of the southern states of the US are the same. They only give you one plate.

Two months isn't that short when you're waiting for a new car!

It did help that Halifax is the first stopping port for east coast bound ships from Germany, and then it didn't have to ground ship to anywhere, so that cut down on shipping time.
