Question about the BMW performance callipers - are they the same as the stock 6 piston 135i callipers except for the color? Information on other threads is confusing. |

Nice choice for your exhaust. I took the same approach for the same reasons. However, you may want to consider removing the stock resonator as that goes from the two 2.25 pipes to one 2.5” pipe, so you still have a major bottleneck possibly preventing you from taking advantage of the larger axel back piping.
When I did mine, the resonator was replaced with a two 2.25ish inch to 3.5” y pipe.

I'd recommend a diff brace as it's cheap and easy to install. I got the precision works brace as it looks stiffer than the flat BMS brace.

Alindquist - did you solve your brake pedal issues? I ask because I have a similar problem and wanted to compare notes.
I have a 128i with the BMW performance calipers, SS brake lines and motul fluid. I already coded off those parameters you mentioned a few posts ago - and while it did improve the consistency of the pedal it's still kind of soft. I already bled the brakes several times and even activated the DSC pump through the computer as well. But my brake pedal still doesn't feel as firm as I want it too. Its also not temperature related because I have cooling ducts and when bleeding brake fluid it's not cooked nor does it have air in there. I noticed the 1M has a different brake master cylinder than the 128 and 135 and I'm wondering if that's what I need to do. Any input welcome. |

Wondering if at my miles (around 100k) the seals inside the master cylinder aren't as good anymore. |

Definitely not true. Non bedded pads/rotors can definitely affect pedal feel. If the ridges aren't "in sync" then there will be some mushiness as the pad first contacts the rotor.

Any more photos of your intake setup? Details on how you made the plastic flow tube?
Thanks

Here is some pictures from summer 2021. Some driving from Gotland Ring here in Sweden. Longest track we got! My tires were already overheathed during many laps in a row, but still fun driving. And this is what I've been up to last couple of weeks. |

Printed? Hmm. For test fitting or for long term? I mean... it might work long term. Just doesn't seem like a great idea. But to be honest given what you've done and the things you obviously know, I'm sure it's something you're very well aware of
Nice project! Thanks for the updates and pictures. It's been fun to follow. |

As said, just for mock up! High grade aluminium and machine hours ain't cheap today, the 3d-printer saves alot of money and me getting headache. Thanks for your comments, I'm glad to see some action in the thread. |

Send me a message if you want a hook up for machine time. EDIT: just realized you're in Sweden! Never mind, shipping would probably kill any benefit.
