And the winner is ....... Jet Black!
My car has arrived. I showed up at the dealer - and it had just come back from detailing, it still has to go for the alarm on Monday. I'm sorry - all you AW, Sedonna and TiAg owners, this car was MEANT to be darth.......
Canadian version - Sport Package, Black Leatherette, Aluminum Glacier, PDC. Note the 261's, M door sills, and although today's photos don't show it - Anthracite Headliner - and no sunroof! |

lester, that is a beautiful 1
I am close to pulling the trigger on a 135i and have gained much needed info on this forum. If I am not mistaken, that is the BMW store in Vancouver. How was your experience there?? Do you recommend this dealership?? How was your SA? Did they give you any discounts off msrp? thanx for your help and once again, awesome 1 cheers |

Hey Lester, thats a great looking car that wil be driving around Vancouver BC. Is that a cup or mobile phone holder next to the gear shifter? In the UK we only have the option of cup holders in the centre console, which I see you also have.
My car has already been ordered and is due for build this week, unfortunately I couldn't amend my order to include "storage package" I was wondering if it is a cup holder and if was something I could put on after the car is delivered. Do you know a BMW order code for that item, don't think it is available here in UK? Maybe I could order on internet from BMW US/Canada....? Hope you can help. Thanks Nick |

While I was waiting for my car to come back from the shop - I had a chance to look at an AW, a Titanium Silver, and a Sedonna Red version. Like others have said on this forum, the lighter colors accentuate the door sag. The darker colors seem to mute it. It is really noticable when you see the car in person. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, just an observation. Do yourself a favor and take a look at these cars at a dealer if you can. This way you can check it out for yourself. BTW - I also really liked the Aluminum Glacier interior trim on my model, with black. My first upgrade will be the Aluminum pedals.

The 261's should be available as an option. Check with your dealer and make them part of the negotiation. The standard wheels on the US model will be very easy to sell as people will want them for spares, winter tires etc.

Thanks for the pics mate, certainly justified my choice to go that Black with the '261s. The black/black interior reminds me of my current Audi, think i might need to change that and go with Beige. That cup holder looks a bit out of place.
Is your car standard ride height? I have a feeling our AU spec 135s are dropped 15mm and to be honest, I think it could do with it. Otherwise mate, congrats |
