Video of 135i JB3 1.3 PnP Map 5 no other mods
Changed over from SSTT to JB3 1.3. SSTT is great but I wanted more power. The JB3 1.3 has a much better power delivery and pulls better at higher rpms. I have no CEL or SES lights and have keep an eye out with the BT tool. 135i runs around town daily driving as if there isn't a tune on it. Once you WOT you really need to have DTC off in 1st and 2nd or else you are going bog down. Second gear will spin up until around 40mph on RF's.
Here are a few speed runs in 2nd and 3rd gear. Sorry for no embedding, but Vimeo has better HD than YouTube: |

Vimeo ftw. I sure hope there was no time remapping cuz that 40-110 mph is insanely fast. Only thing holding me back from getting a JB3 is warranty.

The car has a golf tee mod and CDV valve. Other than this it's stock. Runs are on 93 pump gas and running Map 5 (stock map) If you are concerned about codes, just get the BT tool and clear them yourself. I haven't had any issue with the JB3 or SSTT that wasn't a BS, non-motor related, nuisance code (only 2 at that). The tool is well worth the money though. |

No wonder it looked so nice. I've been saving my pennies for that camera but get suckered into buying rims, exhaust, cf parts, etc.

Then I have made a mistake, have been caught and outed. I also technically got the name of the song wrong, but that doesn't make a difference to those who don't like the music anyways. I'm 100% positive I have a red interior though and a Sparkling Graphite paint job. |
